Integrated Care & Public Health
The Division of Integrated Care & Public Health is a global leader in developing and disseminating effective integrated care programs to treat the large numbers of people suffering from poor mental health. In integrated care, skilled mental health professionals support primary care providers and other health professionals in familiar settings, effectively bringing mental health treatment to where people feel comfortable receiving care.
Using the latest web-based and telehealth technologies, our interdisciplinary group of clinicians and scientists advance effective treatments for diverse populations and health care settings. The programs we support are patient-centered, collaborative, population and public health focused, evidence-based, accountable, cost-effective and integrated with other health and social services.
Through the Division’s AIMS Center (Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions), we have worked with over 600 organizations and trained more than 6,000 clinicians around the world. Our implementation partners range from small, rural practices to large, complex health plans in the United States and abroad, all with the common goal of improving the health and well-being of the billion individuals living with mental disorders worldwide.
We believe there is no health without mental health and envision a world where medical and behavioral health professionals work together to provide effective, patient-centered care.
