Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

With training as a clinical psychologist, my specialization is in autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. My research interests include investigation of the neural systems underlying social cognition and their plasticity in response to intervention and learning. Previous research experiences have focused on early autism diagnosis and measuring the autism phenotype. Additionally, I have developed computerized face recognition training for adults with autism and examined how rewards impact the executive function of children with autism. The focus of my fellowship is to measure the autism phenotype and potential endophenotypes via standardized clinical and experimental assessments as well as via electrophysiological techniques.
