Bio

NeuroNames and Macaque Brain Atlas: Dr. Bowden's role in this project is the development of a computerized atlas of the primate brain that illustrates all structures represented by several thousand current neuroanatomical terms and that is suited to quantitative neuroanatomical analyses.

Space, Exercise and Social Needs of Lab Macaques: This study is being performed to evaluate the influence of five major aspects of primate housing and husbandry on the psychological well-being of laboratory primates, i.e., to establish quantitatively the effects of case size, exercise, social contact, tethering, and radiotelemetry on the hormonal, behavioral, immunological, and physiological status of laboratory macaques.
